The National Collaborating Centre for
Mental Health
The NCCMH are a not for profit company that needed a productivity
tool to assist them in producing guidelines for various
mental health conditions.
The guidelines are large, and are worked on by disparate
groups of users in many locations. Some of these users were
not familiar with the use of computer software, and any
solution needed to be implemented with a minimum amount
of training.
It is precisely this that Claromentis was designed to address,
from the ground-up - as a 100% thin-client web-based application.
With the ability to work on aggregated documents, and for
users to be able to edit and review by a check in and out
process, productivity is greatly improved. As a final review
process NCCMH use the 'Discuss' application, which converts
a document to HTML and allows users to comment before final
production.
Benefit

Claromentis was implemented on a web server provided by
HDIS, thus minimising any IT support required, and at an
affordable price. The training required was minimal, with
even administrators fully trained in just half a day.
There are over 80 users cooperating on various guidelines
on subjects such as 'Eating Disorders' and 'Depression in
Children'.
